If I hadn't needed to get a PA state teaching...
…I would quite likely have attended a college in or near New York City.
All my other school options, minus the one I attended of course, were around NYC.
I wonder how different my life would have been.
I wonder if my mom would have had a mental heart attack worrying about the evils of the city.
I wonder if she would have even let me go to school there.

Obstacles, large and small.
All I want to do right now is go stand on my back porch in the pouring rain. Just to be exhilarated, refreshed, calmed, consumed.
I can’t take the front door or the garage door outside, because both are noisy and will wake my parents.
The only door I can use is the porch door.
But currently there’s a spider building a web across the doorframe. I’m sure as hell not getting in...
