So, remember when I was obsessed with "Friends"? (Yes, more than I am currently.)
That awkward moment when you’re trolling the Friends Cafe forums, at the same time remembering how much fun Friends Boards (R.I.P. the original FB) was… and you click on a thread and see a link and go oh, that’s who that Tumblr person is.
No matter how old this fandom is, it seems we’re still all connected somehow, even though I don’t think I know any of the people still “in” the fandom. Also, a lot of these people appear to be in their twenties like me, which makes me feel less like a loser. (Thanks guys! :D)
This isn’t a fandom blog, really. Just… for the moment, it is. XD
Yesterday at the farmers' market this teenager and I were buying "dirt cup" desserts because we're awesome.
Which reminded me of this: The fact that I look 15 or 16 and not 23 means that teenage girls are really nice to me, even when they’re being rude to everyone else. It’s kind of funny. Like, my mom will be all “ugh teenagers” because they ignore her and stuff. But then they’ll hold doors for me and smile and say hi. A benefit of looking younger than I am, I guess.
Then the older people around me complain, and I’m like ya gotta respect ‘em to get respect, guys. Teenagers are people, too. (Plus they’re usually more interesting than adults because they’re not all set in their ways and stuff.)
In other news, my mother has hit a full on anxiety-attack, panic-attack, be-a-jerkface phase, and I am so tired of this.
